چکیده

Abstract Pristine carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and functionalized (f-CNTs) were introduced into conductive poly(methyl methacrylate)/graphene nanoplatelet (PMMA/GNP) composites to achieve a synergistic effect in the enhancement of conductivity reduction percolation threshold by forming 3-Dimensional(3-D) hybrid structure. Both in-plane perpendicular electrical properties investigated. The synergies fillers direction more dependent on total filler loading, while those significantly influenced GNP/CNT or GNP/f-CNT ratios. Typically, schematic diagram evolution 3-D pathways PMMA/GNP/f-CNT composite at different ratios was presented explain this phenomenon. Moreover, tunable anisotropy (defined as ratio conductivity) ranging from 0.01 1000 achieved, simply constructing structures various loadings composites. Graphical abstract GNPs f-CNTs varies with microstructural network

Synergistic Effect of Carbon Nanotubes and Graphene on Diopside Scaffolds

A synergetic effect between carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene on diopside (Di) scaffolds was demonstrated. 3D network architecture in the matrix was formed through the 1D CNTs inlaid among the 2D graphene platelets (GNPs). The mechanical properties of the CNTs/GNPs/Di scaffolds were significantly improved compared with the CNTs/Di scaffolds and GNPs/Di scaffolds. In addition, the scaffolds e...

The Electrical Properties of Hybrid Composites Based on Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes with Graphite Nanoplatelets

In the present work, we have investigated the concentration dependences of electrical conductivity of monopolymer composites with graphite nanoplatelets or multiwall carbon nanotubes and hybrid composites with both multiwall carbon nanotubes and graphite nanoplatelets. The latter filler was added to given systems in content of 0.24 vol%. The content of multiwall carbon nanotubes is varied from ...

Percolation Threshold of Polymer Nanocomposites Containing Graphite Nanoplatelets and Carbon Nanotubes

An improved analytical model is developed based on an interparticle distance concept, to predict the percolation threshold of conducting polymer composites containing graphite nanoplatelets (GNPs) and carbon nanotubes (CNTs). GNPs are modeled as well-dispersed, disc-shaped cylinders, while CNTs were modeled as either well-dispersed sticks or sphere-shaped CNT agglomerates with a higher CNT conc...
